WaWaWa is a full-service restaurant/café located in the sculpture garden in Bedok Reservoir Park, Singapore. The restaurant features a full menu of moderately priced "comfort" food influenced by German cooking traditions. The café section features a coffeehouse with a dessert bar, magazines, and space for live performers.
The architectural design of the restaurant reflects the theme of the falling of the Berlin Wall by incorporating 2 slanted walls to the structure, symbolizing the reunification of Germany. The slanted walls will be filled with plants so that the restaurant can be integrated to the surrounding area.
Located next to the "The Kings of Freedom", a 4-segment of the dismantled Berlin wall, generously made available to Singapore by American art lover Robert A. Hefner III and his Singaporean wife Mei Li.
Coming to WaWaWa is a nostalgic experience intended to transport diners to a different time through all aspects of Berlin Wall history and it‘s underlying meaning. Our core message - Unity and Freedom.
